Previously, this was a blog mostly to harass my poor friends and family with the details of my life. Don't worry-- that will continue. However, I'm also going to use this as a terrible forum for dialogue about green tips and eco-revolutions. Hopefully it will be helpful and entertaining...

Changes! But not bad ones or anything!

I might change where I'm living, so that address I sent to some people may be null and void. I realized that I'll be a year or two older than most of the students at McHardy, so I might change to a different hall with older, more mature (HA) students.

Also, I have changed my classes to:
-New Zealand's Natural Heritage
-Biology of Plants
-Physical Geography
-Soils

And the almost sad thing is that I'm really excited about all of them! Thank god, because I'll be back in class in THREE WEEKS :( Anyways, thsoe are the updates for now. Marlie and Jordan left to visit their mom, which means I really am down to a week and a half before I leave the states.

The Time Difference...

Okay, so everyone keeps saying, "So what time is it in New Zealand???" and Papa Steve told me to make a chart of the time difference... which I did, including the Daylight Savings Time of both the United States AND New Zealand. Anyways, if you are wondering what time it is, the best website I've found is  the world time server. So then, even if you are in BELFAST or THAILAND, you can see how far apart our time is... More importantly, people in the United States may want to notice that, for me, my birthday begans at 8 am on September 8th.

In other news, I GOT A THOUSAND DOLLAR SCHOLARSHIP! Which means, I SHOULD have enough money to go to Australia after the semester ends. Also, I've decided that for our Spring Break (early September) I am going to head down to the South Island to swim with wild dolphins and bungee jump. Seriously. Best 5 months of my life, folks...

I'm also officially in McHardy Hall, the alcohol-free dorms. I can be snookered up but I cannot store alcohol there. So that way I don't crawl inside a bottle when I'm missing you all so horribly... I have an address and I believe I messaged it everyone, but let me know if I missed you and you have a desire to send me mail. Which I would ADORE, by the way.

Okay, that's all for now. Get ready to be bombarded with kiwi isanity!!!
